Fillers
Fillers Treatment
The face changes shape with age. Volume is lost from the temples, cheeks, and under the eyes. The jawline softens. The lips lose their border. These structural changes create an unintentional fatigued and stressed appearance and they require a structural solution. This is where Fillers step in. Fillers are not meant to overfill; they should bring harmony, balance, and softness to the face.
Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid-based, meaning the substance used is one the body already produces and recognises. Injected at precise depths into targeted areas of the face, the filler restores volume, lifts the tissue above it, and re-establishes the proportions that characterise a rested, youthful appearance. Hyaluronic acid also draws water into the tissue, adding hydration and a subtle luminosity that goes beyond volume alone. The results are immediate and, importantly, long lasting.
Common treatment areas are the lips, cheeks, under eyes, and chin and temples
The AAYNA approach is diagnostic before it is corrective. At consultation, your specialist maps the face as a whole, identifying the key structural points where volume has shifted and what the most considered restoration would look like. The goal is always the same: the best version of yourself, without anyone being able to tell what has been done.

Steps of Filler Treatment
Facial Assessment
Your specialist evaluates the face in full, not just the area you have identified. Volume loss in one zone affects how other zones appear. The treatment plan is designed for the face as a whole.
Mapping
Key injection points are marked. For face contouring, these correspond to the light-reflecting zones: temples, mid-cheek, nasolabial region, chin, and jawline. For lips, the border, cupid's bow, and body are mapped individually.
Topical Numbing
A numbing cream is applied and allowed to take full effect. The discomfort of the procedure is minimal, and most fillers contain lidocaine within the formulation for added comfort.
Filler Placement
Using either a fine needle or blunt cannula depending on the area, the filler is placed at the precise depth required. The cannula technique reduces the risk of bruising significantly and is preferred for most areas of the face.
Review and Refine
Once placed, the result is reviewed. Minor adjustments are made before the session closes. Clients are given a mirror at every stage.

Fillers FAQs
How long do fillers last?
Between six and eighteen months, depending on the area treated, the density of filler used, and individual metabolism. Areas of higher movement, such as the lips, tend to metabolise filler faster than structural areas like the cheeks or temples.
Are fillers reversible?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down the filler precisely. This is one of the reasons AAYNA uses only hyaluronic acid-based fillers.
Is the treatment painful?
A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure, and most fillers contain lidocaine. The experience is generally well-tolerated. Clients describe mild pressure or a brief sting at injection points.
What is the downtime?
Mild swelling and occasional bruising at the treatment site are normal and resolve within forty-eight to seventy-two hours for most clients. Social activity is typically resumed the same day.
Can fillers look natural?
In trained hands, they consistently do. The AAYNA approach centres on restoring what has been lost rather than adding volume beyond the face’s natural proportion. The diagnostic assessment before treatment is what distinguishes a considered result from an overdone one.
Which areas can fillers treat at AAYNA?
Cheeks, temples, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, under-eye hollows (tear trough), lips, chin, and jawline. Fillers are also used in the hands for volume restoration.
Can fillers be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Fillers combine well with Botox for a comprehensive rejuvenation result, with Thermage for structural tightening alongside volume restoration, and with skin treatments for overall improvement. Your specialist will advise on the appropriate combination and sequencing.
What happens when fillers wear off?
The filler metabolises gradually. The face returns to how it looked before the treatment. There is no accelerated ageing or deflation effect from allowing fillers to metabolise naturally.
